Return & Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Librolane, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains your rights and our procedures regarding returns, refunds, and exchanges for both physical books and digital products (eBooks).

2. Physical Books – Returns

You may return physical books if:

  • The item is unused and in its original condition
  • The return request is made within 14 days of delivery (in line with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations)

Non-returnable items:

  • Books that show clear signs of use
  • Items damaged after delivery

3. Physical Books – Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

  • ✅ A refund will be issued to your original payment method
  • ⏳ Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days

Important:

  • Original delivery costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or incorrect
  • We reserve the right to refuse refunds if items are not returned in resalable condition

4. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is:

  • Damaged
  • Defective
  • Incorrect

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

We will:

  • Offer a replacement, or
  • Provide a full refund, including any applicable delivery costs

You may be asked to provide photos as evidence.

5. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect
  • We recommend using a tracked service, as we are not responsible for lost returns

6. Digital Products (eBooks) – No Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital content:

  • ❌ All eBook purchases are non-refundable once the download link has been accessed or the file has been downloaded

By purchasing digital products from Librolane, you agree to this policy.

Exception:

Refunds may only be considered if:

  • You experience a technical issue preventing access, and
  • Our support team is unable to resolve the issue

7. Order Cancellations

Physical Books

  • Orders may be cancelled before dispatch for a full refund

eBooks

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once the download link has been issued
